The 21st Annual Conference of the German Biogas Association (Fachverband Biogas e.V.) held at the event together with the BIOGAS fair followed on perfectly from the successes of the previous years. For the first-time total of over 7,000 trade visitors and conference participants, one thing was certain: the energy turnaround announced by the federal government can only be realized with Biogas, even if the Renewable Energies Act 2012 (REA) poses several challenges for the sector. Clearly positive signals were sent by the BIOGAS trade fair with a new record participation: in space of over 15,000 m², 431 companies informed interested parties about the latest products and services connected with the versatile energy carrier biogas.

<a10:updated>2012-02-01T14:34:09+01:00</a10:updated>

FACTS & FIGURES

21th Annual Conference of the German Biogas Association with BIOGAS Trade Fair

<a10:updated>2011-12-21T08:40:01+01:00</a10:updated>

Energy change with biogas: 21st BIOGAS Annual Conference and Trade Fair informs

What challenges does the Renewable Energy Act 2012 pose for the biogas sector?
